What is in it, and what each part does
The pen whitens with hydrogen peroxide. It is a 10% hydrogen peroxide gel, and that peroxide is what lifts the surface stains coffee, tea and wine leave behind. Everything else in the formula is there to carry it, flavor it and help it go on in an even layer.

The formula
What actually does the whitening?
Hydrogen peroxide. The pen is a 10% hydrogen peroxide gel, and the peroxide breaks down the colored compounds in surface stains. The rest of the formula carries and flavors it.
Will it make my teeth sensitive?
Sensitivity varies from person to person with any peroxide whitening product, and this is a peroxide product. Some people notice nothing; others notice some sensitivity during or shortly after use. Use it as directed, stop if you feel discomfort, and speak to your dentist if it continues.
